Canadian Baseball Network Website Privacy Policy

Canadian Baseball Network respects the privacy of all of its users and is committed to protecting such privacy in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains Canadian Baseball Network treatment of your personally identifiable information collected in connection with your activities on the Canadian Baseball Network website referencing this Privacy Policy and all services made available on the Canadian Baseball Network. This Privacy Policy also explains how you can ask questions and make suggestions about our privacy practices and review and update your personal information.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

In the course of operating the Canadian Baseball Network, we may collect two types of information about our users: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.

"Personal Information" is personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, email address, birth date and gender. Personal Information is collected by us when you choose to provide it to us when registering for a Canadian Baseball Network service, such as when you choose to subscribe to a Canadian Baseball Network service, enter a Canadian Baseball Network promotion or choose to receive information from the Canadian Baseball Network.   2. Who are acting on our behalf as our agents, suppliers or service providers, solely to enable us to more efficiently provide you with the Canadian Baseball Network. Such entities act under strict contractual controls, requiring them to maintain the confidentiality of all such Personal Information and to use such information solely for purposes related to the provision of the Canadian Baseball Network;

The majority of the advertisements which are displayed in connection with the Canadian Baseball Network are served through reputable third party advertisement serving partner(s), in accordance with their policies as described on their own website.

USE OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION

Non-Personal Information is collected or derived by us in the course of operating the Canadian Baseball Network. For example, our Web servers may automatically collect Non-Personal Information which is provided through your browser or stored on a Cookie or through a Web Beacon when you choose to visit the Canadian Baseball Network.

IP ADDRESSES

An IP Address is the unique number which is assigned to every direct Internet access point. Many IP Addresses can generally be associated with certain Internet service providers or large organizations. IP Addresses do not contain any Personal Information. When you, through your browser, request a web page or similar Internet information from another computer on the Internet, your browser automatically provides that computer with an IP address to which it will send the requested information.

Canadian Baseball Network and IP Addresses:

  1. Whenever you request a Canadian Baseball Network web page or certain other similar Canadian Baseball Network content, your browser automatically provides our computers with your IP Address, to which our computers will send the requested information. Each such request is logged by our computers with information including the IP Address of the computer that requested the page and is stored by our computers as needed for the purposes described in this policy;
     
  2. Canadian Baseball Network may use your IP Address to display more appropriate and relevant content and advertising, such as content and advertising based on your geographic area. Aggregate information derived from IP Addresses may be reported by Canadian Baseball Network to its advertisers and partners. RETURN/REFUND POLICY

The subscription packages are deemed to be commercial software, thus no refunds can be made to those purchasing this service, since the product is digital in nature and cannot be physically returned to CBN. All purchases of this service are final and non-refundable.

If you are dissatisfied with the Service, or with any of our terms, conditions, rules, policies, guidelines, fees or practices in operating the Service, your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using the Service and terminate this Agreement, which you may do at any time by providing CBN with written notice no later than seven (7) days after subscribing to the Service. No refunds will be given by CBN for partial terms or for any initial registration fees.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY POLICY

You can offer to sign up as a subscriber for the Service by completing an Order Form on-line. In order to sign up you must be the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside, a resident of the United States of America or Canada with a valid American or Canadian address, and hold a valid Visa or MasterCard credit card. The fully and properly completed and submitted Order Form constitutes your offer to purchase the Service identified in your submitted Order Form. Your submitted Order Form shall be deemed to be accepted by CBN only if and when CBN sends confirmation of acceptance of your Order Form to your e-mail address. Should you not receive a response from CBN regarding a submitted Order Form request, or if you experience a service interruption or error display, or other problem, it is your responsibility to confirm with CBN whether your Order Form has been received and accepted by CBN. CBN will not be responsible for any losses attributable to an assumption by you that an Order Form was or was not submitted because no response or acceptance was received by you.
