Scouting Report:
Baseball America
“Plus-plus runner who has shown flashes of an impressive hit tool from the left side.”
MLB Pipeline
“His speed stands out the most and it’s close to top of the scale, with some evaluators recording 80 grades for the outfielder. It should allow him to be a base stealing threat and to cover a lot of ground in the outfield. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a loose and easy swing geared for hard contact. He’s a gap-to-gap hitter who can use the whole field who has come on fast offensively and while his game is really built around his speed and defense, he could grow into more power as he matures. He has adequate arm strength and it plays up because he makes accurate throws. It’s more than enough for center field, where he should be able to play long-term.”
Perfect Game (May 1)
The Arkansas signee had a huge 2019 at Perfect Game events posting a .394 average with a 1.076 OPS and will have to be a big run producer during this series. He has a powerful stroke and can get hot in a hurry, backs pinning the ball well to all fields which allows his advanced foot speed to impact the game in a hurry. He has the type of offensive ability that can impact the lineup and you can put him in the five-hole in this line up, providing protection so the 3-4 hitters cannot be pitched around. That same foot speed from the base paths plays well in the outfielder and has enough arm strength to play right field.
Perfect Game Showcase (2018)
“Athletic frame with plenty of quick twitch muscle and strength as well. Primary outfielder with a longer arm circle and good arm strength recorded up to 86 mph. Good timing to field with smooth and easy actions. Sound transitions to the throwing hand and has raw arm strength; will be a weapon with improved accuracy. Lefthanded hitter with a spread, open stance and a bent knee set up. Swings hard with intent to drive the baseball to all fields. Longer swing path and has projectable bat speed. Solid round with good barrel awareness and has lots of jump off the barrel.”

Is one of the youngest players eligible for the 2020 draft. His plus-plus speed plays both in centre field and when he’s in the batter’s box. His swing is simple, which should help him hit.
