2020 season at the Prairie Baseball Academy as a freshman: Had a game to remember in Walla Walla, Wash., hitting two homers and knocking in five in a 19-9 win ... Nine stolen bases in four games ... Diaz was batting .156 (5-for-32) with two homers and six RBIs while walking six times and striking out 14 times … Struggled on first trip to Vegas.
2019 season with Kentucky Duellers: Hit two home runs in five games.
2018 season: Delivered walk-off RBI single to centre as Alberta Red topped BC Orange 6-5 in Tournament 12 action at Rogers Centre to move Alberta into the semi-finals. Diaz Vasquez finished 2-for-3 with one RBI and a walk.
2017 season: Batted .300 (3-for-10) with a double and three RBIs at 18U nationals ... Hit .300 (3-for-10) with an RBI at Canada Games ... Fastest man in the building when he ran a 6.53 60 inside Rogers Centre at Rogers Centre.
