Besides my father the most influential people in my baseball life have been: “Denis Boucher and Phil Devey, two Quebec natives that have played pro and are role models. Denis has known me since I was playing in atom and has coached me throughout the years , from Atom to T12 for team Quebec. I was introduced to Phil when I arrived in Lafayette and we both realized how much we had in common. He had been a dominate player for the Ragin Cajuns under coach Tony Robichaux and was a big reason why I committed to play there. Phil has been family to me and treated me like a son. From advice on and off the field he is someone who I look to for guidance and mentorship.”
