Perfect Game

Jack Lines (2024, Okotoks, Alberta) had a decent day at the plate on Friday against LB21 Texas- National, going 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. His hit was a nice double that he lined an outside pitch down the left field line. He has a very controlled and fluid left-handed swing that showed really good barrel control to hit the ball where it’s pitched. He stays balanced well in his load and gets in a solid position to hit, ultimately throwing his hands quick to the ball and getting good extension. Along with his day at the plate, Lines showed some clean actions in the infield as well. He showed a smooth glove with advanced footwork that projects him as a middle infielder. Even though it wasn’t a crazy performance numbers-wise, the Tennessee commit impressed with his hit tool, feel in the box, and actions in the infield.
