Procyshen, Siddall, CBN POW, Week XVI
By George Farelli
Canadian Baseball Network
What to do when there are identical numbers?
You see OF Brett Siddall (Windsor, Ont.) batted ,412 (7-for-17) for the week with the class-A Beloit Snappers, part of the Oakland A’s system.
And C Jordan Procyshen (Calgary, Alta.) hit . 412 (7-for-17) for the week with the class-A Salem Red Sox of the Boston Red Sox system.
Well, we could use the old tie-goes-to-the-guy-with-the-most-RBIs (Procyshen).
Or we could go with the old tie-goes-to-the-man-with-the-fewest-strikeouts (Siddall).
Naw, we’ll just stick with Procyshen and Siddall sharing honors as Canadian Baseball Network minor leaguer co-Players of the Week.
How close were the pair? Well Siddall wears uniform No. 35 and Procyshen No. 34.
