Would you believe the Blue Jays are World Series Vegas faves?

By Bob Elliott

The odds makers in Las Vegas weren’t bothered by Mark Buehrle’s outing on Sunday afternoon in St. Petersburg.

Or his lack of defence in Game 162.

Or the Jays dropping four of five games after clinching the American League East title Wednesday afternoon in Baltimore.

Bodog sports has the Blue Jays listed as 3/1 favorites to win the 2015 World Series.

And dead even at second choice among the 10 teams to reach post-season play are the Kansas City Royals and the St. Louis Cardinals, each listed at 5/1.

The odds to win World Series ...
Blue Jays 3/1, Royals 5/1, Cardinals 5/1, Los Angeles Dodgers 6/1, New York Mets 7/1, Chicago Cubs 10/1, Pittsburgh Pirates 11/1, Texas Rangers 12/1 followed by the Houston Astros and New York Yankees each at 14/1

Odds to win the AL Pennant ...
