Canada loaded the bases on three walks including an intentional base on balls to Sean Jamieson (Kitchener, Ont.) that brought Orr to the plate.

- Stromsmoe knocked in his second run of the game with a single in the eighth and he later scored in the inning off a single from guess who, Orr that gave him four RBIs on the evening.

- In the ninth, Canada put the icing on the cake with a run coming in on a fielder’s choice that gave Brock Kjeldgaard (London, Ont.) an RBI.
