UBC: Success off the Field
Ian Prescott (Barrie, Ont.) used to catch for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds. Now, he is a postdoctoral fellow in the department of surgery at Queen’s University.
Some players attend the University of British Columbia and are drafted. Now, that list of names impresses high schoolers from coast to coast.
Meanwhile, parents are more impressed when they check out some of the other UBC graduates.
