Cesar Valero (Calgary, Alta.) is one of the top prospects that will be playing in this year's Tournament 12 at Rogers Centre.

There used to a bit of drama as the rosters for annual Tournament 12 came out.

First a group of 10 for all eight teams, then the final 10 to fill the 10-man rosters.

This year the Blue Jays Academy did things a little differently:

As 15 players were chosen to represent British Columbia, 14 names were chosen for the Atlantic team, 13 have been selected to the Quebec team, 12 were named to the Alberta team, 11 to the Futures team, 10 apiece for the Ontario Black, Ontario Green and the Prairies squads.

The event which brings together the best high school players in Canada takes place Sept. 13-17 at the Rogers Centre.
