21U Women’s Invitational: Nova Scotia and Québec to play tiebreaker

OTTAWA- The stage is almost set at the 2019 21U Women’s Invitational tournament.

Québec and Manitoba engaged in a tight game. Québec pulled away and won 12-9 due to a 6-run rally in the fifth inning.

Ontario disrupted Nova Scotia’s flawless record in a resounding 9-2 win. Their victory secured a place in the Gold Medal matchup on Sunday afternoon.

Manitoba ended the day with a 12-2 win over Saskatchewan. Katie Heppner had three RBI while Brittany Langlais tossed six quality innings.

Québec and Nova Scotia will play a tiebreaker at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow to determine who will face Ontario for Gold.
