21U Women’s Invitational set to begin in St. John’s

OTTAWA – Seven teams are in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador for the 21U Women’s Invitational that will run from August 11 to August 14 with games scheduled for St. Pat’s Ballpark and Wishingwell Park.

One of Baseball Canada’s newest national championship events dating back to 2016, the last time the 21U Women’s Invitational event was held was in 2019 when Ontario took home the gold medal in Ottawa.

Here’s how to follow all the action:

WHAT: 

21U Women’s Invitational in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador

WHEN: 

Action starts on Thursday, August 11 with-round robin play running through Saturday, August 13. One quarterfinal game is scheduled for Saturday evening with semi-final and medal games on Sunday, August 14.

Seven teams are in St. John’s representing BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Québec, Nova Scotia and host Newfoundland and Labrador.
