Right-hander Ben Abram has been named the Terriers’ pitching coordinator for 2024 and 2025.

The 24-year-old Georgetown, Ont., native who completed his fifth collegiate season in 2023, is eager to get started.

"Being a Terrier is a special experience, very few organizations will give you the tools to succeed in the game and in life but the Terriers go above and beyond,” said Abram, a graduate of the program himself. “Not only will you be prepared to move on to the next level but you will be prepared to compete which is so important in youth baseball development.”

The 6-foot-8 Abram, who also pitched for the Junior National Team and was selected in the 37th round of the MLB draft by the San Diego Padres in 2018, has big plans in his new position.

“I am taking over the pitching coordinator role with the goal to create a more diverse and competitive development environment,” he said. “I have been lucky to learn from so many great coaches and experiences and I hope to bring all of my knowledge and competitiveness to the Terriers organization."
