Calgary native Mike Soroka tossed two scoreless innings for the Atlanta Braves against the Toronto Blue Jays in his club's 5-1 win at Dunedin Stadium on Tuesday.

The Atlanta Braves downed the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1 in Grapefruit League action at Dunedin Stadium on Tuesday.

The Blue Jays scored their only run on a solo home run by Teoscar Hernandez in the bottom of the third inning. Calgary native Mike Soroka hurled two shutout innings for the Braves, while Markham, Ont., native Jordan Romano pitched a scoreless ninth for the Blue Jays.

Right-hander Joe Biagini started for the Blue Jays and allowed three runs in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss.
