A split squad of Toronto Blue Jays players trounced the Pittsburgh Pirates 13-4 at Dunedin Stadium on Wednesday.

The Blue Jays' offensive explosion was aided by home runs from five different players: Devon Travis, Montreal native Russell Martin, Roemon Fields, Curtis Granderson and Dwight Smith Jr. Left-hander J.A. Happ started and picked up the win for the Blue Jays.

All in all it was a successful day for the Blue Jays as their other split squad defeated the Detroit Tigers 6-5 at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Fla.
