Back-to-back weekend wins for Terriers 18U

They didn’t run the table at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio.

Yet, a 7-1 record, including three consecutive wins on the final day, got it done at the 18U Continental American Baseball Association National Championship for the Ontario Terriers.

The Terriers came out of pool play as the No. 3 seed with a 4-1 record defeating Premier Ohio, the Stallions, Diamond Boys and the Midwest Ironbirds.

Their lone defeat was to the Mashfactory Club.

In the championship game the Terriers defeated the Ironbirds by a 8-0 score.

With the win the 18u Terriers, managed by Dean Decenzo (Hamilton, Ont.) defended their CABA title from a year ago.

Their 2019 summer tournament record finishes at 17-2.

The Terrier teams will close out July with the PBLO playoffs on the weekend.
