Badger Johnston heads to Minot State

London Badgers Brendan Johnston (Infielder, St. Thomas, Ont.) will be a Minot State Beaver. 

Baseball Adds Five to Signing Class

MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State baseball team has added five players to their 2018 signing class, head coach Scott Eul announced Friday.

Carson Tonini, Kellen Peat, Justin Moskowitz, Brendan Johnston and Matt Sartwell have all signed their national letters of intent to attend Minot State.

Brendan was named the Pitcher of the Year in 2014 and 2016 and Hitter of the Year in 2015 as a member of the London Badgers. He has served as team captain in 2017 and 2018. Brendan was a member of the 2017 18u Canadian Baseball National Championship team and was awarded game three MVP of the 2017 18u Canadian Baseball National Championship.

“Brendan brings versatility on both sides of the ball for us,” added Eul. “Brendan comes from an up and coming program in Ontario and has been the leader of that program for a couple of years. We are excited to see Brendan show off his athleticism in a Minot State uniform.”
