Baseball Canada announces staffing changes to Ottawa office

OTTAWA – Baseball Canada would like to announce the following changes to the federation’s head office in Ottawa.

June Sterling, who served as Administrative Coordinator since 2016, will transition into a newly created role of Project Coordinator/Safe Sport Liaison. In the new role June will be working with Baseball Canada’s Safe Sport Committee and with the 10 member provinces on their safe sport efforts. She will continue working with Challenger Baseball Canada projects, Girl’s Baseball initiatives and additional administrative tasks.

Baseball Canada would like to welcome Nancy Dunbar to the office staff in the new role of Administrative Coordinator, Men’s National Teams. Nancy comes to Baseball Canada with many years of office administrative experience and will handle team and personnel travel along with extensive administrative functions in Alumni & Alumni Data Base Management, National Teams Awards Banquet & Fundraiser, Private Donors, Sponsorship and Corporate Partnerships, Athlete Assistance Program, Baseball Canada-RBC Professional Development Program, Off-Season Strength & Conditioning Program, CCES-Baseball Canada Doping Control Education and the National Athlete Pool.

Both positions are effective immediately.
