The Terriers organization closed out the final weekend in May with several stellar performances on the field.

Let’s see who stood out the most this past week.

17U – RHP/INF Jayden Pavao

Jayden Pavao used both his bat and his right arm to impact the Terriers’ lineup over the course of four games. Pavao had a pair of hits and walked five times at the plate. On the mound, he threw five innings and allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in a 4-2 loss to Académie Baseball Canada. Five of the 15 outs he recorded came via the strikeout.

16U – INF Steven Trkulja

For the second week in a row, Steven Trkulja is the 16U’s top player. In two games, he collected five hits, drove in eight and stole a base. He went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and five RBIs in a 9-8 loss to Team Ontario.

15U – RHP/INF Stiaan Henning

Stiaan Henning’s best performance came in a 1-0 win over the Toronto Mets when he threw five scoreless innings. The right-hander gave up two hits, walked three and struck out six on 76 pitches. He then drove in two and stole a base in an 8-3 Game 2 victory.
