Betts - Terriers' Players of the Week: Currah, Gladwish, Persaud, Stillo, Tan

The first week of July brought with it plenty of action across all five Terrier teams.
Most notably, it was the hitters who stood out.
Let’s take a look at the top performances from the week that was.
17U – INF Matthew Tan
Matthew Tan got his week started with a 3-for-4 game with two doubles and an RBI in a 17U win. Over the next four games, he collected four more hits, walked three times, stole two bases and was hit by two pitches. He swatted a solo home run in a 4-0 win over the CT Crush.
16U – C Noah Currah
Noah Currah saved his best day at the plate for the final game of the 16U’s week. He went 4-for-4 with an RBI in an 8-6 victory over the Great Lake Canadians. In the three games prior, he had three hits and an RBI.
15U – OF Sebastian Stillo
It was a busy week for Sebastian Stillo and the 15U’s as they played seven games. Stillo was up for the challenge as he contributed 10 hits, two walks and five RBIs. He put together a three-hit game in a 6-2 win over the Indiana Bulls.
14U – OF Greyson Gladwish
Greyson Gladwish chipped in four hits, three RBIs and a stolen base. Three of his hits came in a 14-5 victory over the Titans Baseball Club.
14U Minor – INF/OF Kayson Persaud
Kayson Persaud got in on the offensive action with five hits, a walk, two RBIs and three stolen bases. He had a multi-hit game in two of the four games he played.
