Terriers players were making an impact all over the field from May 6 to 12. Let’s take a trip back to the past week to see who stood out for each team.

17U – INF Matthew Tan

Infielder Matthew Tan collected four hits, walked four times and drove in six to help his team to a 2-1 record. He hit a three-run home run and finished with two hits in a 13-8 loss to the Ontario Royals. In a 18-8 win over the Royals, he swiped three bases. Through five games this season he’s hitting .462.

16U – RHP/INF Armin Najmaie

Armin Najmaie’s best performance came on the mound in Game 2 of the 16U’s series with the Ontario Blue Jays. After dropping Game 1, Najmaie delivered five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and issuing a pair of walks. He struck out six and picked up the win in the 9-6 victory.

15U – RHP/INF Lincoln Rose

The 15U Terriers also took on the Ontario Blue Jays in a four-game series and Lincoln Rose pounded out four hits, drove in three and stole two bases. Of his four hits, two were doubles. Rose hopped on the mound and threw two innings and struck out three in Game 2.
