Official Toronto Blue Jays Press Release

Bo Bichette, Randal Grichuk, George Bell and more join Blue Jays fans nationwide for a second Virtual Variety Hour

Back by popular demand, fans are invited to join special guests on Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m. ET for a Blue Jays Virtual Variety Hour presented by TD

Conga playing, teammate banter, and friendly competition – it’s hard to imagine how the first Blue Jays Virtual Variety Hour presented by TD could be topped. Well get ready, because the second edition features a reunion of the ages with the legendary “Drive of ‘85” outfield trio of George Bell, Lloyd “Shaker” Moseby, and Jesse Barfield joining fans live. The Toronto Blue Jays are excited to again invite fans from across the country to join them on Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m. ET for the second Blue Jays Virtual Variety Hour presented by TD.

Registration is completely free at bluejays.com/VarietyHour and includes an opportunity to submit questions for special guests; fans who sign up will be sent a link on the day of the event, to join the Variety Hour on Zoom. Hosted by Hazel Mae and Ben Wagner, the virtual gathering will include Q&A and games with many different Blue Jays special guests listed below.

Thanks to the generosity of Blue Jays fans and partners, including a $200,000 contribution from TD, the From Home Plate to Your Plate virtual food drive has raised more than 1.4 million meals for families that rely on Food Banks Canada. There is just one week left to donate at bluejays.com/FromHomePlateToYourPlate. The Blue Jays hope that fans will consider making a contribution of any kind – just $1 equals two meals for a person in need, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Food Banks Canada.

While everyone is wishing to be reunited at the ballpark, the team cannot wait to connect again with fans nationwide.
