The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired right-handed pitcher Bryan Baker from the Colorado Rockies as the player to be named later grouped in with Forrest Wall and Chad Spanberger during last month's trade of Seunghwan Oh.
Over parts of three professional seasons dating back to his draft year in 2016, Baker, 23, has posted an overall WHIP of 1.425 while amassing a K/9 of 9.5 through 80 appearances.
Pitching exclusively as a reliever for the first time in 2018, the 6'6" product of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. has posted an ERA of 3.80 with 58 strikeouts against 34 walks across 45 innings of work with the high-A Lancaster JetHawks.
Since joining the Rockies late last month, Oh has allowed just a pair of earned runs over his first nine appearances.
