Looking to rebound from an 18-1 loss against the New York Mets on Friday, the Toronto Blue Jays have activated INF Bo Bichette from the 10-day injured list.

In a corresponding move, RHP Jacob Waguespack has been optioned to the club’s alternate training site in Rochester.

Through 14 games with Toronto in 2020, Bichette has slashed .361/.391/.672 with nine extra-base hits across 61 at-bats prior to landing in the IL on August 16.

Shortly before being sidelined with a knee issue in August, the Florida native had become one of only three players 22-years-old or younger to have hit a home run in four consecutive games at the MLB level. At the time of his injury, he ranked second in the American League in batting average (.356), while checking in at fourth in OPS (1.062) and fifth in SLG% (.678).
