The Toronto Blue Jays have activated RHP Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) off the 10-day injured list and recalled LHP Ty Tice from the clubs alternate training site.

In a pair of corresponding roster moves, LHP Travis Bergen and OF Josh Palacios have been optioned.

Through four games prior to landing on the shelf with right ulnar neuritis on April 14, Romano allowed one earned run on four hits, striking out four of the 17 batters he faced across 3 1/3 innings.

Saturday’s promotion marks Tice’s second stint with the Blue Jays. He fired a pair of scoreless innings in his lone Major League appearance on April 9 in a Blue Jays’ 7-1 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.

In his first stretch at the Major League level, Palacios slashed .250/.353/.250 across 28 at bats. He reached base 12 times in 35 plate appearances, driving in four and scoring seven runs.
