The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed RHP Oliver Drake on waivers from the Los Angeles Angels. He will report to the Blue Jays' major league roster.

Drake, 31, is 1-1 with a 7.01 ERA in 23 games for the Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Angels this season. The 6-4, 215 lb. right-handed pitcher has pitched 25 2/3 innings this season, allowing 36 hits with 10 walks and 27 strikeouts. The native of Worcester, Mass., owns a career record of 5-6 and a 4.84 ERA in 114 games for Baltimore, Milwaukee, Cleveland and Los Angeles Angels (2015-2018).
