The Toronto Blue Jays have exercised the 2021 club option on the contract of RHP Rafael Dolis. The 2021 club option for RHP Chase Anderson has been declined.

Dolis, 32, signed as a free agent with the Blue Jays on February 8,, 2020, after spending four seasons pitching for the Hanshin Tigers of the Japanese Central League. In his first campaign with the Blue Jays, the right-hander ranked fifth among American League relievers with a 1.50 ERA while recording a career-best five saves. The La Romana, Dominican Republic, native struck out 31 batters over 24 innings in 2020, and now holds a 4.08 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP across 64 career appearances.

Anderson, 32, made seven starts and three relief appearances during the 2020 season. The 6-1, 210 lb. righty went 1-2 with a 7.22 ERA while fanning 38 batters in 33 2/3 innings of work. Over seven Major League seasons, the University of Oklahoma product owns a 54-42 record to go with a 4.06 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP.
