The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms with the following free agent on a Minor League contract with an invite to 2025 Major League Spring Training:

RHP Adam Kloffenstein

Kloffenstein, 24, made his MLB debut with the St. Louis Cardinals this past season, appearing in one contest, while spending the rest of the campaign at triple-A Memphis.

In 17 minor league starts, he went 4-5 while posting a 4.74 ERA with a 10.9% walk rate, a 19.4% strikeout rate, and a 49.8% groundball rate. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound right-hander from Magnolia, Texas, was originally selected by the Blue Jays in the third round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft, before being sent to St. Louis as part of a deadline trade in 2023.

In 106 appearances (104 starts) between the Blue Jays and Cardinals systems, he has combined to record a 4.47 ERA across 497 innings with a 10.9% walk rate and a 23.3% strikeout rate.
