TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays added a pair of relief options on Friday, inking both righty Jake Petricka and southpaw Brian Moran to minor league deals that come with invites to big league camp later this month.

Petricka, 31, has appeared in parts of seven big league campaigns, striking out 175 batters and posting an overall ERA of 3.96 across 231 2/3 frames.

Those totals include a 2018 season that saw the 6-foot-5 product of Northfield, Minn., walk only 16 batters over 45 2/3 frames as a member of the Blue Jays.

Moran, 31, graduated to the Show for the first time in 2019, making it into 10 games and striking out 10 batters as a member of the Miami Marlins.

Throughout nine years in the minors, the former seventh-round draft pick has accumulated an ERA of 3.15 to go along with a K/9 of 10.6. In 466 1/3 innings, the 6-foot-4 Port Chester, N.Y. native has limited opposing batters to just 146 free passes, and 34 home runs spread out across 344 appearances. All but one of those assignments has come as a reliever.

Pitchers and catchers report to Dunedin next Thursday, and the first full-squad work out is scheduled for Monday, February 17.
