BRANTFORD - The Brantford Red Sox Alumni Association, today announced the details for the first annual Home Run for Hospice Game on Saturday, October 3 at Arnold Anderson Stadium.

The game will feature Brantford Red Sox alumni from multiple generations including Wayne Forman, Lee Delfino, Stefan Strecker, Hyung Cho, Jason Gotwalt, Joe Colameco, Raul Borjas, and more. Leading each team will be former Red Sox Owner Paul Aucoin and Adam Clarke.

Funds generated from the game will go to directly support the Stedman Community Hospice.

The game will begin at 12:30 p.m.

The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), in its 102nd year of operation, is the best baseball league in Canada, boasting ex-major league professional and elite NCAA college baseball players. The IBL is the fifth-longest continually operated baseball league in the world and serves as a valuable training ground for coaches, umpires, and front office staff. More than 40 IBL players have advanced to Major League Baseball or returned to the IBL following their MLB careers.
