The top amateur players born in Canada with college eligibility showcased their skills on Scout Day at Tournament 12 at the Rogers Centre on Tuesday.

One of the most exciting competitions to watch on Scout Day is the 60-yard sprint. The following players registered the best times for their respective teams today:

Team Maroon: OF David Calabrese, Vaughn, Ont., Ontario Blue Jays - 6.43

Team Green: OF-1B Homer Bush Jr., Toronto, Ont., Texas Stix (Mendoza) - 6.46

Team Red: OF Owen Caissie, Burlington, Ont., Fieldhouse Pirates - 6.49

Team Navy: OF Riley Silva, Cambridge, Ont., Great Lake Canadians - 6.55

Team Orange: INF Bryce Arnold, Grimsby, Ont., Fieldhouse Pirates - 6.72

Team Black: INF/RHP Ben Roberts, Hamilton, Ont., Great Lake Canadians - 6.91

The format has been revamped for this year’s Tournament so that the prospects selected to participate will no longer play for their respective regions, but rather have been divided among six teams. You can view the team rosters here.

The teams will begin a series of games against each other on Wednesday and these contests will continue through Friday.

A home run derby will be held on Saturday, along with an all-star game that will feature the tournament’s top prospects and performers.
