Caliendo Sports International has helped Ukraine’s 12U national squad prepare for the WBSC/European Championships.

In a news release sent out on Saturday, highly respected former Baseball USA coach Peter Caliendo, who heads Caliendo Sports International and is the vice-president of International Sports Group (ISG), thanked Van Schley, the chairman of the ISG Baseball advisory board and co-founder of Baseball for Good, for helping Ukraine’s 12U national team train for a week prior to the team heading to Vienna, Austria for the WBSC/European Championship tournament.

Schley also helped transport the Ukrainian 12U squad to a Little League event in Holland.

“With the help of Steve Pinder and Roberto's Kids, we are also getting equipment there for special camps we are hosting in Bohuslav, Ukraine [at] the complex we help build,” said Caliendo. “Proud to be part of these two great organizations who help baseball around the world in many ways.”
