CBN Player of the Week -- Michael Crouse
By George Farelli
Canadian Baseball Network
One could say Michael Crouse is in a groove.
You could say that Michael Crouse is hotter than the Chicago Fire.
Or you could say Michael Crouze is seeing the ball as well as he saw it in 2011 when he was with the class-A Lansing Lugnuts. That season Crouse batted .262 with 14 homers, 55 RBIs and an .827 OPS in 101 games.
It’s the third time in seven weeks that Crouse (Port Moody, BC) a former Junior National Team member, has been the best of the nine Canucks getting paid to play (in the minor or independent ranks) in seven weeks.
Crouse had a week to remember, hitting four home runs, knocking in eight runs and batting .280 (7-for-25).
