And the COBA Major League Week II Players and Team of the Week (there were only two games played in Week I).
Player of the Week - Alex Thrower
The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Alex Thrower of the Etobicoke Rangers. This is the first weekly award for the veteran outfielder this year. For his week, he played two games batting .625 (5-for-8) with three doubles, and two walks. He scored four runs while collecting an RBI.

Jaykob Turner (Etobicoke): 2G, 3-for-6 (.500), 2 Doubles, Run, RBI
Ryan Freemantle (Oakville): 1G, 2-for-3 (.667), 2B, Walk, Sac Fly, RBI
Pitcher of the Week - Andrew Hyde
The Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Andrew Hyde of the Etobicoke Rangers. The veteran hurler takes this honour for the first time this season. In his only appearance this week, he collected the win as he tossed five innings allowing no runs on just two hits. He didn’t walk a batter while striking out three batters.

Team of the Week - Etobicoke Rangers
The Zingers Bats Team of the Week: The Etobicoke Rangers completed the Week 2 sweep of the league awards for the club. The Rangers had a pair of games this week as they collected a tie and their first win at Connorvale Park in over two years after a long hiatus due to COVID. They tied the Milton Red Sox 6-6 in Milton and defeated the Burlington Brants at home 7-1.
Etobicoke now sits at 2-0-1 on the season good for five points overall and currently sit atop of the COBA Major League Standings.
