The COBA Major League managers and league executive have approved the schedule for the 2021 regular season and playoffs. The schedule was finalized Monday night during the league’s latest managers meeting online.
The league will feature six teams this summer taking part in the action. The Ken Johnson division will have the Milton Red Sox, Burlington Brants and Oakville A’s while the Len Andrews division will feature the Etobicoke Rangers, Erindale Cardinals and Brampton Royals.
The Niagara Metros and Mississauga Southwest Twins have both opted to take a leave of absence just for this year but plan on returning next season.
The full schedule, which features a 15-game regular season for each team, will kick off on July 5th when the Oakville A’s will make the trek down the road to visit Greg Cranker and the Erindale Cardinals. There will also be a playoff tournament in the middle of August. The dates and times for those games as well as the structure will be decided in the near future.
