* * *
In a very light week of COBA Major League play (only three games) the Milton Red Sox were victorious in their only league outing of the week as they traveled to Teramoto Yellow Field to take on the Brampton Royals.
The Royals struck first in this one as they scored a run in the home half of the 2nd inning for an early 1-0 lead. The Red Sox erased this lead in the fourth inning when they plated a pair of runs to take a 2-1 lead. The teams would trade runs in the fifth as Milton took a 3-2 lead into the second half of the game.
Brampton would knot this game up 3-3 in the seventh inning as they were able to push a run across. Both teams would go scoreless the next couple of innings as this game would need extra innings. In the extra frame, Milton would push across three to take a 6-3 lead. The Red Sox defence would make that stand as they took this game by that 6-3 score.
Nick Feren led the way offensively for Milton going 2-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI. Brandon Job was 2-for-4 with an RBI while Liam Buckley was 2-for-6 with a run scored. Luke Crowley was 2-for-5 with a walk while Matt Fusco was 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run and a pair of RBIs.

Sam Lebel led the Brampton offense going 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles while Aidan Murphy was 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of runs.
