The COBA Major Zero K Bats Team of the Week for Week 8 was the Erindale Cardinals Senior Baseball Team. This past week the Cardinals had a solid week going 2-0. They started off the week with a solid 17-1 victory at home over the Oakville A’s before traveling to Burlington on Wednesday and defeating the Brants by a score of 10-8

With the wins last week, the Erindale club now sits at 9-4 on the season. That is good for second place in the tight Andrews division race and 2nd place overall in the COBA Major Senior Baseball League.

The COBA Major D-Ville Bats Player of the Week for Week 8 (June 18-24) -- OF Corrie Morrison of the Burlington Brants.

Morrison played in two games during this week helping lead the Brants to a 1-1 record for the week. They started off with a tough 10-8 loss at home on Wednesday to the Erindale Cardinals before rebounding for an 8-6 victory on the road in Brampton. For his week, he was 7-for-11 (.636) with two singles, three doubles, and two triples. He scored four runs while collecting nine RBI and also added a stolen base.

COBA Major Lazer Pro Pitcher of the Week -- LHP Andrew Mullin of the Erindale Cardinals.

Mullin had one appearance this week helping to lead Erindale to a 10-8 win on the road against the Burlington Brants. In this game, he tossed eight innings allowing three runs (0 earned) on five hits. He walked one batter while striking out five in collecting the win.

For his season, Mullin now sits at 2-0 with one save. In his 27 2/3 innings of work, he has allowed 15 runs (7 earned) on 24 hits good for a 2.28 ERA. He has walked 14 batters while amassing 25 strikeouts thus far.
