COOPERSTOWN, NY) – The annual Hall of Fame Awards Presentation will be broadcast on MLB Network at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 25, and will feature the 2020 and 2021 award winners.

Al Michaels, the 2021 winner of the Ford C. Frick Award for broadcasters, and Dick Kaegel, the 2021 winner of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America’s Career Excellence Award, will be honoured along with the 2020 award winners, including Frick Award winner Ken Harrelson, BBWAA Career Excellence Award winner Nick Cafardo and Buck O’Neil Lifetime Achievement Award winner David Montgomery.

The Awards Presentation will be held as a television-only event in Cooperstown on Saturday, July 24, then broadcast the following day on MLB Network. In addition to the MLB Network broadcast, the event will be livestreamed at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 25, on MLB.com and at facebook.com/baseballhall.

MLB Network will re-air the presentation later that night at 8 p.m. ET, followed by The Sounds of Baseball: Al Michaels at 9 p.m. ET and Hawk: The Colorful Life of Ken Harrelson at 10 p.m. ET.

Harrelson, Kaegel and Michaels will all deliver speeches at the Awards Presentation. Ben Cafardo, the son of the late Nick Cafardo, and Lyn Montgomery, the widow of David Montgomery, will speak on behalf of their family members.

The 2021 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, on the grounds of Cooperstown’s Clark Sports Center, will celebrate the inductions of Class of 2020 members Derek Jeter, Marvin Miller, Ted Simmons and Larry Walker. The Induction Ceremony will be broadcast live exclusively on MLB Network.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Hall of Fame is currently open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 7 and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 8. From Sept. 9 until Memorial Day Weekend, the Museum observes daily regular hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $25 for adults (13 and over), $20 for seniors (65 and over) and $15 for juniors (ages 7-12) and $18 for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations.
