Cramer, Valero propel Dawgs to fourth straight win

The Okotoks Dawgs made it four wins in a row with a 10-7 victory over the Weyburn Beavers on Thursday night.

The Dawgs racked up 13 hits and with the win, move into sole possession of first place in the West division and the WCBL with a 14-5 record.

Cole Cramer went 3-for-3 with four RBIs for the Dawgs, while Caleb Lumbard (Regina, Sask.) and Aidan Rose (Calgary, Alta.) both drove in a run. Cesar Valero (Calgary, Alta.) also had two hits and two runs for the Dawgs.

Bobby Vath got the start and gave up three runs on six hits in five innings, while registering four strikeouts.

The Dawgs wrap up their two-game series with the Weyburn Beavers at Seaman Stadium on Friday night.

The Dawgs will welcome the Regina Red Sox to town for a two-game set starting on Saturday.
