Dadson signs with Trois-Rivieres Aigles

WELLAND - The Welland Jackfish, members of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) are proud to announce that 2019 IBL Rookie of the Year Brendon Dadson has signed with the Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières of the Frontier League.
Dadson made his IBL debut in the Rose City in 2019, hitting .321 with 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored in 34 games played. The 22-year old was also excellent defensively playing at several positions during the 2019 campaign.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Bowmanville, Ont., native was also selected to the 2019 IBL Second Team All-Stars at first base. Joining him on the Second Team All-Star ballot are Euclides Leyer (RHP) and Wilson Soriano (SS).
The Frontier League is an independent professional baseball league with 14 teams across the United States and Canada.
The Welland Jackfish are a member of Ontario's most elite baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
