Okotoks Dawgs

After a record-breaking championship season in 2022 that saw the Okotoks Dawgs go 49-14 en route to their sixth WCBL Championship, the staff had a long list of potential suitors for this year’s player awards.

The Okotoks Dawgs are pleased to announce this year’s award winners:

Infielder- Ricardo Sanchez

Sanchez was a fixture in the top of the lineup and leader on this year’s championship team. In 2022, Sanchez hit .342 including 21 extra-base hits, 39 RBIs and 46 runs scored.

MOST OUTSTANDING PITCHER

LHP- Matt Wilkinson (Okotoks, Alta.)

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Outfielder- Alejandro Cazorla (Okotoks, Alta.)
