The Okotoks Dawgs have lost three straight for the first time this season after being defeated 9-6 by the Lethbridge Bulls on Monday night.

The Dawgs’ record now sits at 37-15 on the season and they are tied with the Sylvan Lake Gulls atop the WCBL’s West division standings with five regular season games remaining.

Offensively, Titus Dumitru had three hits - including his sixth home run of the season - and two RBIs for the Dawgs, while Cole Cramer contributed two hits and an RBI.

Elijha Hammill (Oakville, Ont.) came in to pinch hit for the Dawgs and recorded a hit and an RBI.

On the mound, Graham Brunner (Sherwood Park, Alta.) started and allowed two runs on six hits, while striking out six, in 4 1/3 innings.

The Dawgs will now head out for their final road trip of the season, which will start with a game against the Lethbridge Bulls on Tuesday.
