The Okotoks Dawgs defeated the Lethbridge Bulls 8-4 on Tuesday for their ninth straight win.

The Dawgs registered 15 hits in the game and improved their record to 19-5 on the season.

Logan Grant (Chestermere, Alta.) got the Dawgs’ offence rolling with an RBI single in the first and eventually finished with a team-leading three hits.

Meanwhile, Titus Dumitru went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Canon Reeder and Brendan Luther (Mississauga, Ont.) each drove in a run.

On the mound for the Dawgs, Noah Geekie (Strathclair, Man.) got the start and did not allow an earned run four innings. He struck out three batters. Dustin Shorie made his season debut and tossed a scoreless ninth inning.

The Dawgs are back in action on Thursday as they return home to Seaman Stadium to start a two-game series against the Swift Current 57s.
