The Okotoks Dawgs have announced their next trio of player signings.

Elijha Hammill (OF, University of Utah), Liam Miller (LHP, Washington State University) and Brody Forno (RHP, Williston State College) have been signed for the 2023 season.

RHP Brody Forno (Okotoks, Alta.), Williston State College

Forno returns for his second straight summer with the Dawgs. In 2022, the 6-foot-1 right-hander went 1-0 and fanned 18 batters in 18 innings in 17 relief appearances for the Dawgs. In 13 games for the Williston State Tetons in 2021-22, he fanned 57 batters in 54 1/3 innings.

OF Elijha Hammill (Oakville, Ont.) University of Utah

This 5-foot-11, 190-pound Ontario Terriers alum is a freshman at the University of Utah. He’ll be making his Dawgs’ debut this summer. The 19-year-old outfielder played for the West Virginia Black Bears of the MLB Draft League in 2021 and posted a .415 on-base percentage with two triples and nine RBIs in 15 games.

LHP Liam Miller (Rancho Palos Verdes, California) Washington State University

This 6-foot-6, 245-pound southpaw is a freshman with the Washington State Cougars. He was a multi-sport star at Peninsula High School in Southern California, starring on the diamond and on the hardcourt. In his senior high school season, he struck out 29 batters in 22 innings in nine games.
