The Okotoks Dawgs have signed Luke Dickson (RHP, Paradise Valley CC) and Trent Lenihan (INF/OF, University of British Columbia) and re-signed Bobby Vath (RHP, LSU-Shreveport).

Bobby Vath – RHP, LSU Shreveport

Vath was a staple in the Dawgs’ rotation during the 2022 championship season. In six starts in 2022, Vath went 4-1 with a 2.75 ERA in 36 innings pitched. Currently in his sophomore year with the Pilots, Vath is 7-1 with a 1.82 ERA in eight starts. Look for Vath to have another impact season with the Dawgs this summer!

Luke Dickson – RHP, Paradise Valley Community College

Dickson is a relief pitcher for the Paradise Valley Community College Pumas in Arizona. Currently in his sophomore season, Dickson has logged 19 2/3 innings in 19 appearances. He has 14 strikeouts and a 3.20 ERA. Dickson will bolster an already deep pitching staff for the Dawgs in 2023.

Trent Lenihan (White Rock, B.C.) – INF | OF, University of British Columbia

Lenihan is a physical corner infielder at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds that will add some power and versatility with his ability to play outfield in a pinch. So far in his sophomore season with the Thunderbirds, Lenihan is batting .281 with 12 doubles, one triple, one home run and 25 RBIs.
