The Dawgs won their second straight game to open the season on Saturday, dominating the Lethbridge Bulls 10-4 at Seaman Stadium.

Garrett Maloney, in his second season with the Dawgs, was the starting pitcher. He allowed two runs on three hits, while striking out five, in three innings.

At the plate, Jason Arriola was one of the Dawgs top hitters of the night. The California native was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBIs.

Lou Anderson (Montreal, Que.), Aidan Rose (Calgary, Alta.) and Barry Eiseman also had two-hit games for the Dawgs. Eiseman also knocked in four runs.

Connor Crowson (Okotoks, Alta.) homered in his second consecutive game for the Dawgs.

With the victory, the Dawgs moved to 2-0 on the season.

They will now take on the Sylvan Lake Gulls on May 28. Gates open at Seaman Stadium at 5:30 and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
