De Grandpre voted to CBN's All-Canadian college First Team

Cédric De Grandpré has been elected the relief pitcher on the Canadian Baseball Network’s All-Canadian college First Team.
The Saint-Simon-de-Bagot, Que., native was named the top reliever by CBN after a panel of 56 Canadian baseball experts were asked to vote for the top Canuck players in American college and university ranks in 2021.
A Baseball Canada Academy (ABC) alum, De Grandpre had a remarkable first season at Chipola College in Florida, a first division NJCAA squad. He went 3-1 with four saves and posted a 1.69 ERA in 37 2/3 innings.
Three Quebec players were also elected to the CBN's second all-star team, Félix-Antoine Chénier-Rondeau (Quebec City, Que.), Mathieu Vallée (Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, Que.) and Alexandre Bédard (Levis, Que.).
Six Quebec players also received "Honourable Mentions” on the CBN All-Canadian college team voting:

RHP - Mathieu Deneault-Gauthier , West Texas A&M University (NCAA DII).
