Quebec pitcher Cédric De Grandpré has three wins in three weeks to start the season for Chipola College.
The right-hander from Saint-Simon, Que. started and tossed five innings for Chipola, allowing three runs on four hits. The 6-foot-2 Canadian also struck out five batters as Chipola beat Walter State Community College, a Tennessee team, 12-4.
The 20-year-old De Grandpré, who ranks fourth on the Canadian Baseball Networks 2022 Draft List, threw 82 pitches.
With the victory, Chipola is 6-2 on the season.
