Final national championship weekend to begin across the country

OTTAWA – Baseball Canada’s last championship weekend of the summer consists of the Men’s Championship, the 15U Boys Ray Carter Cup, the 13U Championships, and the 16U Girls Championships, which are all running from August 22-25.
Men’s National Championships
Ten teams are meeting in Tecumseh, Ontario, at Bert Lacasse Park and Woodslee Park at Reg Chevalier Field.
Last year, Québec captured gold after a 6-5 victory against Saskatchewan, while Manitoba won bronze by beating Nova Scotia 2-1.

Action starts on Thursday, August 22, with round-robin play running until Saturday, August 24. Two quarterfinal matchups are set for Saturday evening, followed by the semifinals, medal games, and closing ceremonies on Sunday, August 25.
15U Boys Ray Carter Cup
Laval, Québec will host 11 teams at Parc Paul-Marcel-Maheu and Parc de Lausanne.
Last year, British Columbia was triumphant after defeating Québec 7-2 in the final. The second Québec team captured bronze after a 12-2 victory against Alberta.

Woodstock, Ontario, will host 12 teams at Southside East and Southside West.
Last year, both Québec teams met in the final, so the province took home gold and silver. British Columbia defeated Ontario 19-7 to capture bronze.

16U Girls National Championships
Ten teams will meet in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, at Bob Bessel Field and Jim Baba Field.
Last year, Québec beat Ontario 10-4 to win gold, and Alberta defeated Newfoundland and Labrador 8-3 to claim bronze.
