The Troy May Memorial Trophy is annually presented by VMF Sportswear to the field manager adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success.

The winner is selected in a poll among IBL Board of Governors at the end of the regular season. The award was presented by the IBL in 2006 to commemorate the late Troy May, former field manager of the Oshawa Dodgers. His lifetime dedication to baseball has served as an inspiration to all who aspire to further the game.

The 2024 Winner is manager Dino Roumel of the Guelph Royals. Roumel lead the Royals to a fourth-place finish in the regular season at 24-18.

His Royals would knock off the Chatham Kent Barnstormers in the quarter-finals in three straight contests to advance to the IBL semi-finals for the first time since 2012.

In the semi-finals, the Royals would upset the defending champions Welland Jackfish in a fifth-and-deciding game to advance to the league championships for the first time since 2004.
